I talked with Ken Mader today about Zali's Crush. He's now looking at filming the project on digital (24p camera, if that means anything to you), which cuts the cost of the project dramatically.

However, that's also opened up the possibility of producing a full-length feature instead of a trailer or a short film. He's been getting notes from various people, and thinking about a rewrite to make the film more festival-friendly -- which means doing something unique that will catch the interest of the festival circuits.

I certainly think the material would adapt to the change, but moving to a feature certainly changes the finances of the project. He's going to think about it some more, and we'll see where he wants to go with it.
