I've had a couple of things wandering about the ether that I haven't noted, and then I realized that a year ago, I would have been all "woo-hoo!" about them, but now I'm just "we'll see". Ah, for the glory days!

Anyway, in perusing Craigslist, I came across a couple of gigs I've followed up on. One is for an MFA student in Boston looking for short scripts for the festival circuit. She's interested in reading Proof of Love, so I shot that one off to her. The other is for someone who wants a writer to create a short script, again for the festival circuit, based around her own plot and character - I'd need to add the development and the drama. She responded back to my initial query, so I've sent her a message back, along with my resume and a link to Demo Reel Scenes.

We'll see. :-)

Tomorrow: a first reading of my scenes for January's showcase, with actors and critics. I’m looking forward to hearing the things out loud, and to tweaking the scripts to make them better. Bring it on!

December: I had to push my scene for Lilyan's directors workshop from the October session to the November/December session, as I'm going to Sedona for three days on a writing retreat.
