I had a chat earlier today with an AFI graduate who wants a short (10 page) commerical script that he can shoot for festivals and to get a feature job. After talking with him for a while, I think I can give him what he needs, so I'm going to give it a shot. In the least, I'll have a 10-page script I can sell/market somewhere else. He's determined to get it made, so maybe I'll even get a copy of the film. Best case scenarios: it wins festivals or it gets him a directing job which may then land me a writing or re-writing job.
