Deanne gave the script and song selections for the showcase to her director of choice, a fellow named Chuck. In Deanne's words:

Chuck totally loves our concept and wants to come on board as our director. He is working on getting back to me some notes before we move forward and had expected to have them for me last night, which he didn't...he wants to let us know whether it's completely do-able as is or if it needs some editing. Our next step is to meet with him and start the process.

Deanne very much respects Chuck's opinion; he's the kind of critic that would be honest with his feedback, and Deanne is just thrilled that he responded so well to it -- particularly since when she first broached the idea with him he didn't sound convinced that it would work.

We should be meeting in the next couple of days to plot the next steps of getting this show(case) on the road!

Lots accomplished in the last couple of days, and now Jo-Ann's rested from the holidays and fired up to get Spacetime out to the places I made initial contacts to. I have a list of more production companies that I need to get names and numbers for her, and I hope to be able to make some more of those calls tomorrow.
