The last thing that happened last night is that, while talking to Kathy and Kati (the producers) they mentioned that they had a group that did have a cranky person in it, and they needed to regroup with that team (after firing said cranky person). Kathy and Kati asked me to come to the regroup meeting today (at 9:30am!), because they really, really liked Rock, Paper, Scissors and they also liked working with me. They wanted my input on story and character ideas.

They were (and still are) effusive with their praise, and all I did was try and be nice about it. Kinda difficult to be the focus of so much enthusiasm!

I agreed to help them out with their brainstorming session. I did very well on 5 hours of sleep, and we had a very good time with the actors and director. Much brainstorming, much idea-sharing.

And now I owe them a 3-page script by noon tomorrow. This one films next Saturday night. If I can help it, I don't intend to be at the shoot (or not for another all-nighter). Once it gets to that point, I don't really have any further constructive things to do!
