-- Work with you on making a good script great. (And sometimes work and work and work...) -- Try to get you on the different studios "approved writers" list (a list of writers that the studios like, which makes it easier for showrunners to get their shows staffed -- if the studio already likes you, the producers won't mind either) -- Have meetings with producers in charge of "Lost" (where there may be a staff opening), and keep your name in mind to mention during said meeting for a possible read for possible said staff job -- Once you have three solid, standard specs in the portfolio, say it's OK to write a spec for your dream show (like Battlestar Galactica), just for fun, even if it won't get as widely read -- Keep looking for new shows and pilots that might be a good fit -- Keep working on getting you an agent No news yet on the agent front. Still have our fingers crossed, though! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
