I have the pleasure of announcing that an excellent poem by Mikal Trimm entitled "Frost on the Saddle" will appear in the next issue of L*S. I'm definitely ahead of schedule for the next issue!

I've received lots of positive feedback on the new issue of Lone Star Stories. People even seem to like the photos I took for each work. I'm really pleased.

No writing-related news to report, nor any news on my pending submissions. I should hear from Say... on my two poems within a few days. I'm really hoping they like them.

I had an enjoyable e-mail exchange with one of the associate editors of Amazing Stories, Jenny Scott, over the past couple of days regarding picking the right rejection letter for use by the Amazing editorial staff. If Ms. Scott is any indication, they have a really sharp and considerate group of people working for that magazine. Now, if only they would buy my story I submitted a week ago....
