I accepted a short story for Lone Star Stories today that will appear in the June issue if the author agrees to my contract. I should, therefore, have two works for that issue only three days after uploading the April issue. Wow. I am no longer very worried about finding strong material for L*S. I just had to be patient, which was rather difficult for me to manage, being the naturally impatient person that I am....

Speaking of patience or lack thereof, I am watching my e-mail in-box even more closely than normal in anticipation of the imminent Say... why aren't we crying? responses. I don't know why I think I have snowball's chance in the Big Below of having either of my poems accepted, but I have my hopes up. Silly me.
