I wrote three poems this evening -- two haiku and one senryu. It was quite fun; I love writing short poetry. For those of you unfamiliar with senryu, the form is identical to haiku, but it involves satirical or humorous human issues, rather than nature-oriented topics and images. I submitted them to Scifaikuest to join two haiku that I sent to them back in January. All five poems should be considered in the next couple of weeks for the May issue of Scifaikuest.
