2005-07-04 12:38 AM ye boring entry Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: So-So Read/Post Comments (3) not tired enough to sleep, though I should hit the hay soon. though it's a holiday I'm going in to work bright an early for some OT. I am, of course, short on money and need any extra I can get.
I wish I had something intersting to say. I don't. It's been fairly ordinary and boring and details just aren't worth going into. I kinda wish I had a hobby. Something that created things and used some sense of creativity and artsyness. The only real hobbies I have are following politics and some basic interest in taking photographs. Been keeping to myself a little only seeing a few friends, mostly because of lack of funds but also because I'm just not feeling spectacularly social. Thursday I got to see some friends in Burbank and make a few new aquaintances. Friday night I stayed in and watched Kill Bill for like the fourth time. Saturday I got sushi for lunch thanks to Space Dog and then hung out with him and chatted for many hours. That evening I headed to the Cam game and barely played as I was OOC talking to people I hadn't seen in a while. Working on demphasizing my PC so I don't feel like I always have to go to games with her. Today I walked a butt ton, went to mass and hung out with a few friends and played board games. Was reiterated to me that I don't really like the Lovecraft-style of things... But I thought of something tonight and I'll have to investigate further because I'm curious. I've never heard of so much as a b-movie made 50 years ago that's within the Cthulhu mythos. Not a single Lovecraft story, whether with monsters or with cannibalism, that I know of has ever been made into a movie. Knowing how reasonalby popular they are and how Hollywood charges after the mildest and most...goofy...ideas. I just wonder why they haven't tried on any of the Lovecraft stories. Wonder if it has to do with the estate being picky, but that'spretty thorough pickiness if no one is ever allowed to do it.... So anyway, four hours OT tomorrow, I'll get to see Howl's Moving Castle with Molasses and maybe his roommate CR. Straighten out my apartment before my roommate gets back then try to see some fireworks from Signal Hill. Then work hard this week, focus and in the end...success! Or something. bleh. I really must be a boring person. in that case I should probably stop typing. *waves* Have a Happy Independence Day! Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
