2006-05-02 3:52 PM The hypocritical son of a Bush... So on Friday, Shrub lets loose with some diatribe about people having to learn English and that's why we shouldn't sing the National Anthem in Spanish.
But of course back at Bush's first inauguration, it seems that at one of the carefully orchestrated balls, Jon Secada sang The National Anthem....IN SPANISH...at the request of the incoming Bush Administration... So when he's pandering it's okay...but when others seek to demonstrate that we are not a lily white European Anglophilic nation by singing the Anthem in their native tongue, it's un-patriotic and um-American.
