Folks,

I heard tonight that Dad's got some kind of kidney issue...fever and retaining fluids...hopefully just an infection...He's on massive anti-biotics and is headed into the doctor in the morning. I won't be surprised if they hospitalize him tomorrow.

This puts round 2 of the new chemo next Monday at great risk. The chemo-compromised immune system and dehydration earlier in the week apparently led to this.

Dad sounds terrible, angry and tired.
Mom sounds exhausted and on the edge.
