Assisted by a mug of mulled wine, I finally finished my latest short story last night, half a week behind deadline and quite a few words over target. Still, three new stories in three and a half weeks isn't too bad for me. Yeah, I know there are people out there who can write several a week or even several a day, but they're not me.

Today is 20%-off day at Borders for students. I'm not a student, but Steph is, so we're going along to blow all the money we don't have on things we don't need. I predict remorse and cursing for tomorrow's journal entry.
