Well, that's a little unfair. It's never really been fixed. But Steph and I are both at home sick, so we decided we'd risk making a trip to Borders to get some books and a tea, so we wouldn't get too house-crazy. Helena (that's the car) made it all the way to Borders and most of the way back before breaking down again. Previous diagnoses or the problem have included the starter motor, something to do with the fuel injection system, and the spark plugs and leads. This time, the breakdown guy said it was probably the coil. I didn't know cars used contraceptive devices. We finished Scrubs Season 2. This is a good thing. I was starting to find myself talking and acting like the janitor. David Schwartz has started a cool project. With the end of Sci Fiction, he's gathering people to write appreciations of all of the stories that have been published over the five and a half years of the magazine. The idea is, you each choose one story and write about it. There are over 320 stories, and so far over 100 have been chosen. Plenty left. Go to the ED SF Project and join in, or just read the appreciations posted so far (and the stories, of course). Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
