So, the beginning of Secrets was a blast. I came up with a really fun, action-packed opening, and writing it was sheer pleasure. But now that's done, and I'm forced to get serious. Character and plot development. Complications. New strands. Blah blah blah. Maybe I'll come up with another fun, action-packed diversion instead.
Less than three weeks to Christmas. Steph and I are counting down the days. Every evening we're just completely destroyed. I think we're both suffering from post-viral exhaustion, so we get through work but then we're done. The Christmas break is going to be pure heaven. Nothing to do for over two weeks. Been doing website design for work. I'm kind of proud of myself for putting together a fairly complex site, completely laid out with CSS that actually seems to work, look good, and is compatible across all modern (and not-so-modern) browsers. Excuse me for feeling smug. Iain Rowan kindly sent me this link to a wonderful selection of Japanese Cast Iron Teapots. Sadly, they won't ship to the UK, and the only ones I can find in the UK are at least 3 times the price. How can I live without a Japanese cast iron teapot? Now I've dropped houmous all over myself. Feck. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
