Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Excitement, Adventure, an actress craves not these things Read/Post Comments (0) So it's been a while since I've graced you guys with the presence of a journal of what's happening with my life. The next big event for me is in a week and a half, I get to perform in Logan Utah at the American college Theatre Festival and compete for the Arene Ryan Scholarship and all sorts of other fun stuff. So, lately, I have been rehersing my butt off (wow, that would take a lot of rehersing) dealing with class, work, and the joys of commuting. I love how my gas expenses are not even close to what I paid for rent, but what I paid to have my car fixed yesterday could have kept me in my apartment for two more months. Anyhoo, So I have been busy preparing my monologue where I play a stripper named Dixie, and a two person scene where I just turned my husband into a pile of ashes. Both are pretty cool, and hopefully impress everyone cuz doing well at this can bring about more opportunities for acting stuff, which would rock. But going there to perform is not the sole purpose of going for a week from Sunny So Cal to the lovely mountains of Utah. Picture thousands of theatre students taking over a tiny little Mormon town. Picture about 30 crazy, funny, and horny theatre geeks in a bus for 16 hours to have a free trip away from their college lives to party for a week straight, and maybe get in a audition or take in a workshop here and there. It will totally rock.
I just had a birthday, which rocked by the way, but I do not feel any older. The only thing that makes me feel the slightest bit old is living with a 3 year old and 8 year old, where it's always a fun filled world of noise and toys wizzing by your head. Well, that's about it, I will update Y'all soon, between my manicure and my pedicure.... Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
