I just submitted a story. I know it's no big deal to a lot of you Writer Type Folks out there, and it's not like I haven't done stuff here and there, but this was my first "pour my soul into 4400 words and send it off to a total stranger for an anthology that I would desperately desperately like to have a story in and what if the editor doesn't like it?" experience.

Thank goodness they profess to have a miraculously short turn-around time. By this time next month, I should know one way or another.
