We spent a few days this week in Laughlin with my parents, just hanging out and enjoying cheap hotel rooms away from Stuff That Should Be Done.

I knew that we'd taken Hunter to Laughlin before, but I was surprised when I was showing him the picture of his younger self on the water taxi to find that it was only 8 months ago, in April.

Snippet of conversation then:

Me: Do you want to tell Daddy about our ride on the river boat?

Hunter: Ribbah. Boat.


Snippet of conversation now:

Me (sitting on the floor with him as he's mimicking my morning stretching): Can you reach over and touch your foot?

Hunter: Oh, no! I have socks on my foots!
