I, too, am gravely disappointed that the California Supreme Court did not rule that marriage is such a fundamental right that to actively remove that right from a sub-set of citizenry would require a full-scale revision of the California state constitution.

But recognition of equality will come to pass. The tide is inexorably turning, and it is inevitable that a public and legal declaration of love and commitment will be recognized as the birthright of all adults.

Have faith, and continue to stand for what is right. It will be.
