2008-12-17 4:05 PM Jam session notes Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (0) We got together on December 14th for a jam session at my house. It was the same four guys as last time: Bill M. on lead guitar, Bill B. on bass guitar, Jeff Boyle on drums, and yours truly on keyboards, rhythm guitar and vocals. Jeff contributed some vocals on a few tunes, but I handled the majority of the singing.
Here's a partial list of the songs we played. WISH YOU WERE HERE, Pink Floyd COMFORTABLY NUMB, Pink Floyd DOWNED, Cheap Trick HELLO THERE, Cheap Trick SUMMER OF 69, Bryan Adams NOT DEAD YET, Bad Examples JUST WHAT I NEEDED, Cars ONLY LOVE, BoDeans CLOSER TO FREE, BoDeans KRYPTONITE, 3 DOORS DOWN LIGHTNING CRASHES, Live DAY TRIPPER, Beatles I know there were others, but that's all that come to mind at the moment. I like this lineup; it would be better with another singer and second guitar, but we can play most anything and make it sound at least halfway decent pretty quick. But I somehow doubt that we'll ever play live with this lineup, mostly because I don't get the idea that Jeff is at all interested in doing this for anything but fun in the basement. But it is a bunch of fun to get together and do it, so ... stay tuned... Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
