I have published a 7800 word short story called DEAD OR ALIVE, for Kindle on Amazon. It's priced at $0.99, and was written back when I was an active member of the Book and Candle Pub on Delphi Internet Services.

It's sort of a vampire/detective story. Originally it was around 2500 words, but this story has been completely rewritten and expanded to its current 7800 words, and it also inspired me to write a follow-up prequel based on the same characters (which is about 1/2 done).
