Anxiety.

That's all it was, really - just anxiety. I went to my doctor appointment yesterday after meeting Jen and Berek for lunch at the Hospital. They ran an EKG on me to make sure my heart was working the way it should be, and there didn't seem to be any problems with it... as the doctor put it, "it's perfectly normal". My blood pressure as well was good (114 over 70), and the fact that the episodes happened during times where I wasn't exerting myself (lying in bed, typing, etc) leaned him away from any sort of heart issue.

I'm still having some lab work done today, where they'll be checking for cholesterol issues, diabetes, and so on, just to double check the doctor's assessment, and if anything out of whack shows up on there then I'll have a stress test done to further see what's happening. But overall, it looks like my heart's not about to quit on me just yet.

I guess I'm just one anxious little dude.
