I'm getting better about this whole "posting" thing. Really.

Friday night was D&D again. The game's going pretty well, in my humble opinion as the DM, although the sheer amount of firepower the group can bring to bear is obscene. That's what I get for keeping a game running for over two years, I suppose. I was particularly happy with the way the game went because this time, I actually had a chance at work to hammer out stats and write down game info, instead of going solely by memory. Makes things infinitely easier.

Saturday, Jen and I barely dragged our butts out of bed. We were planning on going up to Solvang for the day, but we were wiped. So, we settled for dinner at Buca di Beppo (quickly becoming our favorite restaurant) in Santa Monica, and hit the sack early.

Yesterday we were able to get up early enough to drive to Solvang. Every so often, Jen and I need to get up there to just detox a bit. We had lunch at the sausage restaurant there, wandered around town for a bit, then went to the De-Stress Cafe and got massages. My lower back has been a wreck lately, and this did wonders for it. Then it was dinner, and back home.

And now, I'm at work. Bleh. Weekends need to last longer.
