I got hit in the head with a pigeon today.

Wow, not often you see a journal entry start off like that, huh?

Sadly, it's happened before, but that was up in Montclair. Today, it happened again, just as I got out of work. Left the building, took about ten steps, and *WHAM!* A pigeon hits me in the head. Knocked me back a few steps, but the part that bugs me is that it broke my sunglasses. My regular prescription glasses were fine (albeit a little crooked on my face from the impact), but the magnetic sunglass clip-on was knocked off and the frame that held the left lens in snapped. According to the optometrist, it'll cost $110 to replace. I might just get a pair of prescription sunglasses instead.

So if you go outside today, folks, watch out. The pigeons are on the warpath.
