I got a notice yesterday that I'm being called for jury duty in early October. A lot of people that I know don't like jury duty - personally, I don't mind it. I actually kind of enjoyed it last time. Granted, it means that stuff here at the office piles up when I'm not around, but I can take care of that stuff when I get back.

To top it off, I've been called to the same place I went to last time - the Criminal Courthouse in downtown L.A. In the previous jury I was on, the case was involving possession of cocaine base for sale. Other people in my group were on a murder case, and still others were on a molestation/abuse case that apparently went for two months. This ain't jaywalking tickets, folks.

Other than that, it's the same old story. Jen and I went out to dinner last night at Souplantation, then headed to Pasadena to check out a game store there. Came home, watched the news and some Good Eats and Iron Chef, then hit the sack.
