Start of a Four-Day Weekend

This is nice. Our office is closed today for the Memorial Day weekend, which means I don't have to go back in until Tuesday. Got a bit more sleep this morning before getting up to take care of the baby - and by a bit more, I mean I got up at 7:45 instead of 6:00 - and he's sleeping in the bassinet in the living room right now while I work on this. Jen is still asleep in the bedroom - god knows she can use the extra shut-eye.

I haven't posted a lot lately, and like I said in my prior entry, it's because I can't journalscape from work anymore because of our network. Things have been rolling along pretty nicely as of late, and Jen and I are getting closer to moving out of Los Angeles. My bosses now know that we'll be moving in the relatively near future, and I've got a phone interview next week with a hospital in the Milwaukee area that I really, really, REALLY hope pans out. The position is doing exactly what I do now at Good Samaritan (HRIS Specialist), and as a bonus they use the same database system I've been working with for the past 6 years, so they wouldn't need to train me. *crosses fingers*

Oh, for those people who noticed some rather bizarre entries up here the past few days, those were the handiwork of my lovely wife and her somewhat deranged sense of humor. I really don't like eating babies.

Honest.

That's about it for now... maybe there will be another post soon. Maybe there won't. Ya' never know.
