All went well with the trip here; no problem with the baggage, and pretty smooth flights.

Dropped stuff in B&B about 11:45, then went strolling through York. Found the dig site and the finds processing house. Just down from there are a whole row of bakeries that offer the various things I love to buy from them for lunch.

Just around the corner from my B&B is a cheese shop with a round of Wenslydale in the window that's so big I doubt I could lift it. And next to them is a small shop that sells Strongbow cider in cans.

The sun is shining. There's a pleasant breeze. I ate lunch next to the Minster as it chimed noon.

I am happy to be back! It almost seems like home.
