It's about midnight and I just got off the phone with with Villa Bassi after confirming reservations there on July 1-3. The 10-10 phone rates page for the Mediterranean made it easy to find a cheap way to call.

Bernie has provided me with some updates. Permission has not been obtained for shooting panos in the Forum or Colisseum, which bums me out, although he says there will be time to visit them. We will instead shoot at his previous excavation site of Horace's Villa and publish the resulting virtual tour on DVD to accompany his regular publication.

Additionally, on July 2, I'll be shooting the House of the Vestals, both inside and out, on the last day of work of a project run by someone else. That will take place before we go out to the Borgorose site.
