The idea of dishes coming from the makers of the popular soy sauce struck me as a bit odd, but one of the recipes caught my eye:
Hot Oriental Salad 1 TBS vegetable oil 2 cloves garlic, minced ½ tsp. ground ginger 1 C celery, julienned 8 C Chinese cabbage, 1-inch pieces ½ LB fresh mushrooms, sliced ¾ LB spinach, torn in pieces 2 TBS Kikkoman Soy Sauce
Heat oil in wok or Dutch oven over medium-high heat; add garlic and ginger. Sauté until garlic is lightly browned. Add celery; stir-fry two minutes. Add cabbage and mushrooms; stir-fry two minutes. Add spinach; stir-fry two minutes. Add soy sauce and serve immediately. Kikkoman Home Cooks also has several more pages of recipes at their web site.
