Back in 2001 (when I originally began Savorys by Shenanchie), the site was hosted by Tripod. When I moved the site a year later to ZDNET, I thought the Tripod account would be deleted and that would be the end of it. Bur yesterday I discovered the old account still open and working (without content), so this is where I will be moving Shenanchie’s Kitchen in July. Paying a fee for the hosting rids the site of flashing and annoying ads, and the account itself is twice as large and has several more web tools that ZDNET did not offer.

 

As I’ve gone along toying with the design of the new site, I decided to slim the pages down even further by excluding everything but the intended Irish and British recipes, with extras only for Foofer’s canine treats and the recipes for vegans. This means the tips, herbs and spices and all other recipe pages will be gone come July, along with all of the food articles. From this point forward I will try not to deviate from the plan, but as always, if there are any new developments I will post them here.
