I would like to ask everyone who would, to reply to the question below. (I'm doing research.)

    What does it mean when you say to another, or they say to you: "I need validation."?

    For example, does it mean: "I need praise."?

    Or, does it mean: "I need you to tell me everything I said and did is correct."?

    Or, does it mean something different to you? I suspect this word "Validation" has different meanings for different people.

    "How can someone Validate me (or vice-versa) if we don't agree on the definition of Validation? "
