I agree with Julianne Malveaux in her opinion expressed at Free, fair elections? Doubts still linger.

Diebold is the problem, not the answer! Diebold is a foreign-owned company which makes most of the electronic voting machines used all across our country, yet they will not allow independent testing. What are they hiding? Do we honestly believe there aren't hackers out there who would throw the election to one party or the other? Here's just one article pointing at problems: Diebold quietly repaired voting machines.

If there is one thing which would restore some trust in government, it would be to make a tamper-proof and verifiable vote from our citizens.

Personally, I don't believe Bush and his thugs won the last two elections. In 2000, it was the Supreme Court who put them in charge, and in 2004, I believe the voting machines were rigged to give the Republicans the majority where none existed.
