Wasn't the rain supposed to last longer than that? I could have sworn we were supposed to have at least another day. Grrr.

Watched a few movies this weekend, did some werewolf LARP (but had to crash midway because my ear and head were killin me), did a small bit of housecleaning, and then before I knewq it, it was back to work again for me.

It was nice to have raniness, and the sky was SO blue Sunday morning, but that menat that the rain had already left faster than expected. I hope we get more soon, looking forward to basking in comfort, drinking tea, watchin movies type of moods. mmm.

I did have to bring my oilpainting back indoors. I can still do work indoors, but the fumes get overwhelming at times, and they aren't very healthy to be around constantly. I'm almost done with the Tori portrait, only eyes and a few details to go. Woo hoo!

Big bummer of the weekend, the costume party mysteriously dissapeared. I was running a couple of hours late, which I didn't think was a problem because these types of parties usually last through till sun up the next day and beyond, and we generally wind up showing up way too early most of the time. It was at a new house though, and it was 11 when we got there, but it was weird. The house was dark, no lights except the front porch. No noise, at all, you could even hear the chatter from across the street it was so quiet. The street was fairly empty, not many cars, which is totally unexpected when you have an evite party with 97 replys with guests, and Ren Faire people at that! I went up to the door and knocked lightly, heard nothing, and went back to the car. I didn't ring the bell, because if the address was wrong, the time was wrong, or something like that, ringing a doorbell at 11 at night dressed as a freaky Tank Girl isn't ideal. I plan on finding out what happened, my guess is a last minute cancellation or cops busting the party up early (not uncommon). So, in all my gear, I went and picked up some movies, including Elvira's Haunted Hills, Sorority Boys and Analyze This (because I've never seen it and the sequal is coming out).
