Decorations, accessories, toys, lame gift ideas all boxed up and ready to go, music, overstocked shelves, and everything else that the next two months will be giving us.
I do have one thing to say though, I love winter clothing. You just get a lot of cool fasion going on with layering that you cannot get in shorts/tshirt weather. When you've got jackets/scarves/turtlenecks/vests to play with, things can really start lookin nice. I also like November and December as far as the cinema goes. All of the big blockbuster hits that really want to be recognized in the Academy Awards come out, and all of the indy films pepper the art houses, etc. There's already an intersting selection of movies out that I want to see. Also, the weather kinda makes you cut down the outdoor activities (as if I was outdoors a lot lately in the first place). However, I will be waiting around outside with my friends on the 16th for the cheap front row tickets for RENT at the Wilshire. Hopefully, I either never come down with a cold, or if I do, it goes away by then. I woke up this morning a little scratchy throated and stuffy, and a small ear ache. I hope that is all of it. I have now officially been involved in my largest web project outside of work or school programming projects. The game site that I've been developing, www.noahboddy.com, isn't very complicated, at least, the site isn't complicated. The game that this was built for however, is. The game is not my creation, I am simply on staff, but I am just amazed at the following that it has (and actually wish I qualified to play) and the number of forums and sites that have linked to it and have become involved in it. It's going to be a great mystery, and was created for those Push, Nevada fans by my fab industry friends who appreciate a good mystery. Well, back to work, yet again. More tracking down of techs who aren't being quite techie, and managers who can be a little more managerial. My ear ache has been throwing off my balance a little, so I'm debating going home early. Dunno. I think I'll get some cold stuff during lunch and go from there. Of course, here I am complaining about an ear ache when I got a call from a friend of mine this morning. She's stuck in the hospital, pneumonia, both lungs. She's got athsma already. I really hope she gets better real soon. She's a great singer, and has some wonderful music out. I have two of her albulms. If you're interested, see what she's all about.
And by the way, this is just mean: Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
