I've already got bunches of plans for this coming weekend, days 1 and 2 of the contest. The sister is coming down this weekend. I'm putting together a PC for her. We're probably going to do a few post-Halloweenie things, some Hollywood/Santa Monica things, and I'll probably spend some time bouncing some things off her head. Ideas, not items, although it wouldn't be the first time. :) I'm going to Kody's house on the 8th for some Star Trek RP, provided it remains there (it's currently surrounded by fires but not in immediate danger). There's at least 2 Werewolf games this month, which I will likely be skipping, I'll only go if my quota has been met. I'm running a game on the 22nd. The plot has pretty much planned itself through the last game and via ICC, and other things that are continuations of my plot, so it shouldn't be too time consuming. ICC was fun. Some was a bit slow. Downtown St. Louis was creepy and weird, but I'll go into details about how it was creepy a bit later. I was delayed a few hours in getting home, but thankfully didn't have to get on a different flight and wasn't stranded as badly as some who were stranded. Southern California is still ablaze. It was really unsettling, not hearing about the fires until I was at the Phoenix Az airport. I didn't realize how bad, or how many, until we flew over them. I've never before seen flames from the window of a plane. The only thing that was more unsettling was when I flew through a lightning storm. The numbers have been getting bigger since I got home. I found out last night that Southern Faire burned down. Northern Faire was shut down only a week or so ago, and now, Southern will have to be rebuilt/relocated. It's really sad, but Southern is the one that has always made money, so I am certain they will waste no time getting it back up. Okay, enough time spent on this. By the way, expect only brief entries during November, as I plan on spending less time on the journals and more time writing. I'm still contemplating posting the novel as I go, but haven't fully decided on such things yet. If I don't comment on your journals, it doesn't mean I'm not reading them. I'm going to try to keep up with everyone, but ONLY after I have met my word count quote. If I can do this, who knows, maybe I'll make a habit out of it.
