I've spent a lot of time just trying to find everything, even though I was trained on this new system not too long ago.
We went from a pretty rad system, built and tailored in house by experienced programmers to a third part commercial-esque software that is still being modified. *sigh* Oh well, i guess I'll wait a while to see what shapes up. I'm going to stay after work so I can call the 50ish actors that I have lft to call, as I know I'll get distracted as soon as I get home. This new round of audition scheduling is going a LOT smoother than the New York auditions did. We definitely learned from our mistakes. I've also enjoyed the being able to have a part in thinning out the headshot stacks and choosing who gets called, as opposed to what we stuck with in the New York auditions, which was to simply call everyone. Finished more of the website for it, added new people involved, etc. Finished the postcards for the upcoming shows at the theater too. It's only the 4th, and I've already doing pretty well in getting stuff done this year. I'm going to put a bunch of stuff into my spiffy calendar book so I don't lose track of the many things coming up over the next couple of months. I think I'll be able to relax about things more if I just put them down somewhere. And I found several patterns for Dr. Who scarves. I think I have chosen my favorite. I will probably begin it in a few weeks once the schedule for Erik's play is set up, as I will be he one stage managing it. I've got a Starbucks tea latte right next to me, amd working on 6 different things at once constantly. I feel so LA right now. BTW - If anyone has reccomendations for places to get an oil change and a complete lookover of a car in or around Los Angeles that will be honest and not charge hella bucks, plese let me know. I'd like to make sure my car is as tip top as it can be before I start driving it around LA. (No, I dn't have the licence yet. I have the car, and I'm getting my permit again next week most likely.)
