Ah.. the good ol days...
The days where I could work in a ticket system that actually told me which serve a customer was on.
Where I could easily find a case history for a customer.
When a customer didn't have to reply between two lines in an email in order to update their trouble ticket.
When I didn't have to worry about 4 other brand names of server products in my ticket system. Not just server types, but entire brand names.
When I didn't have a hundred tickets that, stare as I must, cannot actually update myself.

The good ol days, when even when we as a company were not quite clear on direction, I could get a definite project description as opposed to vague instructions with no well defined goal, deadline, or even complete plan of execution.

I hate bitching about work. I really do. I know there's lots of people out there who are working harder than I currently am and are getting paid less for it, and that there are people who are finding it tough to even find work.

It's just getting really frickin hot in this damn handbasket and I realy want to know where we're headed over here.
