Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (1) So I decided that, since I now get out of work at 4pm, and that I didn't have anything to do until 9:45 last night (Chicken Little in 3D!!!!), and since I have felt like I have been sitting on my ass for my entire week, that I would walk a bit down Santa Monica until I got tired and then take the bus the rest of the way home.
So, I walked from my office, on the corner of Cloverfield and Colorado, all the way to the Century City mall. It would appear to be ablout 4 miles or so now that I look at a map for it. Woot! Yay! November 4th goal accomplished! Today, I am going to try to master the balance ball that I have owned for almost 2 years now, and possibly do some yoga. I do have a lot to do at my compuer today, so I will take a couple of breaks throughout the day. Walking down Santa Monica was probably my best choice last night, aside from the fact that it seems to be getting dark REALLY early these days. The street lights were out for a huge stretch of Santa Monica, so my time on the bus would have been at least doubled maybe more going down that street. The lights were back up a block away from the mall, so it was zip zip zip all the way home, a bit of stuff at home, then off to Chicken Little at the El Capitan, in 3D that I can actually see (my non-vision in my left eye makes old style 3D pointless). Disney has made a few strides in their 3D technology to where it is available at several theaters. And I enjoyed the movie immensely. All in all for a Friday, I did OK. So now, gotta finish game stuff, email stuff, business plan, and some general organization of stuff. And as I have been sitting here for a little over an hour, I have observed 3 near-escapes by Bit, the smaller of my two turtles. Something will have to be done about this, but currently, I am at a loss for what this should be. I think it is really time for a new tank or new home for these guys. Maybe my older brother is still thinking about the fountain/pond that my nephew so badly wants in the back yard. *shrug* We'll see. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
