I took a trip to my Aunt Kelly's and her husband Ron's over the weekend. They live two hours away, so it was a good 'test-run' to see how Allex did travelling. He did great! He slept at all the right times. And he was content when he was awake. We had alot of fun playing with him, catching up on visiting, and shopping.

Saturday night we all had dinner at my Cousin Jarrod's and his wife Lacy's house. I got to see their new place for the first time. They have decorated it impressively chic. Having dinner at their place is a special treat. They go 'the whole 9 yards' to make it an event. Using beautiful crystal and silver, we started with goat cheese and mini toasts for an appetizer with a Reisling Wine. Next, we had a tossed green salad with strawberries, candied walnuts, blue cheese and a wonderful strawberry dressing. For dinner, Salmon topped with cuscus. On the side, steamed carrots with fresh dill, and steamed baby red potatoes. They served an Amber Ale in a Martini glass to compliment the salmon. For dessert we had homemade angel food cake topped with freshly whipped cream and strawberries. Very Yum!!!

On Sunday, Kelly and I shopped at a huge Outlet center. First we stopped at a Harley Davidson shop to get my 68 year old, sassy, grandmother a black, baby doll T-shirt that says Harley Davidson, on the front, in glittering orange. She loved it! Later, we found some great things at Tommy Hilfiger, Gap and Skechers. I found some jeans that actually fit after the pregnancy. And Kelly found some adorable baby outfits she just had to get! They are way too cute! Then, after our hard work shopping, we had to splurge on some Ice Cream. Very Fun!!!
