Enjoy the ride.

Currently, I live in a small 'crossroad' town in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I'm raising a wonderful son, cultivating a promissing career in Real Estate and enjoying every day! I'm involved in many community activities, charitable organizations and do LOTS of Yoga! Life is a great ride. Things change, I adapt and follow the 'road' with love and humility. • Little Conversations

I've been enjoying my time with Allex so much. He has such interesting little conversations. Like, where God lives and what the sun is made of and how far away the moon is. He talks about his pretend superhero planet where he can do anything. And how when he grows up he's going to own a toy store connected to a pet store.

We play lots of games including Pirates and Star Wars and and Dinosaurs. He named his 3 fish: Darth Vader, Count Duku and R2D2! I thought he'd be a little young for Star Wars, but he loves it. We only watch the exciting scenes though.

I've become an expert on dinosaurs. Yesterday, he pretended he was an 'Archeopteryx.' Do you know what an Archeopteryx is? Allex does AND he can pronounce it! Before last year, I had no idea what an Archeopteryx was! Now I know that it's a meat eating, flying dinosaur with feathers. Part of Allex's game yesterday was that I wasn't supposed to know what an Archeopteryx looked like. He wanted me to look it up on the internet so I could figure out what he was! So, we did :-)

We'll wish on shooting stars and fallen eyelashes and wishbones. Sometimes he wishes to be the Red Power Ranger and other times he wishes to spend 100 nights at grandmas house.

Driving on the road a few weeks back, it was really windy. I told him about a time the time we drove through a mountain pass towing a boat. Minutes later, he asked, "tell me the story again of you driving in the wind." So, I did, complete with 'once upon a time' and 'the end'.

It's times like these that make me smile inside. Children are a blessing.
