I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42

Cow's End

This morning around 7:30 I walked down toward the beach. I brought with me my copy of Zen in the art of Archery and a small notebook. I saw a sign that read:

"Lost: One footed Adult Crow
Bird is rescued from birth."

I bought a coffee and scone at Cow's End. I was amused to see dog biscuits where I would expect to see 'after coffee mints' in a Starbucks.

I sat and read. I took notes on the book and the other people. The notes need to be digested before I regurgitate them. I finished reading and then wrote:

Four palm trees
One golden retreiver
At least one spelling mistake
Film industry professionals meet for cofee
Two women dressed in black shirts and kahkis have interesting ear piercings and earrings
The sound of a rotary engin stirs someting deep within me
Lots of black clothes
Numerous trenchcoats
Brown wool blazer over brown polo, with brown corduroy and brown shoes
Surrounded by life, I finish my coffee

Standing at the end of the Venice pier, think back:

There were more than 4 trees
I didn't notice if 'Mr Brown' had brown socks
I need to work on my brown belt form...
