I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42

Everyone in LA is a writer

As I waited to watch Laurel Canyon, I talked with the guy that took my ticket (I first typed cookie; I need sleep). Turns out he's finishing up a novel. It actually sounds pretty cool. Speaking of things that sound cool, the movie was very sexy and had great music. Lots of intelligent Losers. The movie defines 'loser' a little (I could use a thesaurus right about now) differently--not a bad type of loser, just someone who's lost.

Driving home I thought, for no particular reason that I can (see last parentetical statement) figure out, about installing defenses in my car. You know in case we all of a sudden ended up in a kind of Mad Max senario. While I thought about what a strange thought that was, I started imagining that there were little symbols above my head, displaying my moods. It was kind of like indian poker; everyone else can see my moods, but I have no idea what I'm feeling.

I then thought about writing a journal entry about all of this.

As I walked to my apartment from my car, my thoughts turned to real estate, and owning a piano.
