I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42

Prague

I bought a few books the other day. A story about prize fighting by Jack London, a random novel, and a guidebook to Prague.

After talking to my dad, I watched 'The Core.' I found myself wanting to shout things like 'integrate V with respect to what?' as two of the characters attempted to derive an equation to model the effect of nuclear explosions in the earth's core during a climactic scene. Dipiction of computer hackers continues to degenerate in hollywood. This character was basically useless. All these things aside, it was a fun movie, and it was great to see a bunch of physics geeks and a hot chick do the impossible.

Phone Booth was tightly plotted, fun to watch, and in the end I got the feeling that it managed to be about as cool of a movie that could have been filmed in a phone booth--without involving time travel.

This weekend I got a new cell phone, read the random novel mentioned above, got a few things done for work, wandered up Venice Beach, and avoided training. I also almost fell victim to a strange road rage incident. All is well.
