I spent the weekend relaxing in a cabin on a mountin overlooking Palm Springs. I'd don't think I've ever really spent any significant time in the desert. It was hot, but not as hot as I expected, and there was a pool by the cabin and an oasis nearby with a waterfall and swimming hole. I got to talk with a bunch of interesting people and get out of the city for a few days. Great weekend.
