I'm a web developer for NOVICA. I'm fascinated by languages, even though I only speak English and a little Spanish. I can count in Korean and have numerous language and linguistics books. I'm living within walking distance of CSUN where I share an apartment with my girlfriend and 2 cats. I'm happy. I write sporadically (I really need to finish that short story), with every intention of making a living at it at an undisclosed point in the future. I taught physics at Emperor's College Winter Term 2008. I love games and stories and music and computers and science and "and." I drink my coffee 100% black 80% of the time and 80% black 20% of the time. Also, there are other things. 7332 42 | ||

Mood: Happy Read/Post Comments (5) |
2006-07-06 9:38 AM Ideas resurfacing I've been catching up with friends to let them know that I'm alive and very happy. This entry will stick with this month's theme. I have dreams of being a creative person. Creativity and creation of lasting ideas is important to me.
There is a particular group of people in any city that are almost uniformly not considered people. I've wanted to write about the homeless since my first walk down third street and I've had many ideas for stories over the last few years, but none are sci-fi in any way and they tend to slip out of my mind. I had a rather good idea this morning and I think I may have something. Now my goal is to see what I can find in the way of academic papers on homelessness and associated topics. I am delighted by the idea of researching something I know very little about. I have no idea what will result from this, but I'll keep you posted.
