I awoke around 10 a.m., just as M was knocking on our door. She was in town to watch a granddaughter's soccer game. It was good to see her. I showed her the finally framed photo we had of her and her pooch when we were at her place this summer for Michael's birthday. It is such a good picture of them. Then M will be gone for three weeks house-sitting for a relative. Hopefully we can reach her by cell phone.

Writing of cell phones, I checked our minutes yesterday after Michael spent a good part of the day on the phone with AT&T in an attempt to get us hooked up to the Internet. He has gone over his shared minutes. At last check, I have only used 161 minutes. I am texting with The Amazing Mz. M and the only "real" phone call will be to Uncle A on his birthday.

It is hard to believe that Uncle A is going to be 82 this year. This will make him 24 years older than me. Wow, I never thought of him being that much older than I when I was a little kid and wanting to marry him when I grew up.

The Al-Anon meeting went well last night. Everyone liked my share and they truly liked my basket of prompts. Everyone but one person used the basket of prompts. One member said he liked what I had to say and that I was a "wild woman." Duh! Another member took a prompt and worked his share around it. A different member got the one about fear and faith. They had no idea what to share on that so we said choose another one which they did and it was "easy does it." This they could share on. A lot of people said that the prompt they picked was exactly what they needed to hear.

I do not believe I slept well last night. I do not know why. I felt irritable when I went to bed. I remember I did not even brush my teeth. This is not a good thing to do. I did use my floss though. I have to take care of my teeth. I think the problem with my gums receding is because I have not done as good a job as I can.

Note to self: Self, brush your teeth and floss beforehand.
