Words-of-Mine No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.279673 Curiosities served |

I dreamt about riding my motorcycle. Oh I can hardly wait to get her on the road. I finally woke up when my alarm went off to remind me to do my pedicure today. Hmm, I may just do that and paint my toe nails. A lovely red would be fun. Bailey, of course, attempted many times to get me up with kitty kisses and pawing at my covers. Sometimes I feel he is such a pest but maybe it is a good thing that he gets us out of bed. It is sunny out this morning. I put out bread crumbs both on the patio and in the front. Yesterday the blue jays were hollering up a storm but quieted down after the bread crumbs came out. I don't remember seeing any of them eating the crumbs. Although, the crumbs in the front were gone so, was it the birds or was it the opossums? I will never know unless I begin checking prior to my going to bed. Things are well in the Fricia household today. I guess our somewhat talking about the tension between us cleared the air. Anyway, I didn't care about being right, I, myself, just want to be happy. I was glad we could enjoy our endeavors of yesterday and eat a good meal that we prepared. Granted Michael did the majority of the cooking but I took care of the little things that didn't overwhelm me. Well, today is Black Friday. The stores began early by opening up last night. Some opened at 10 p.m. and others at midnight. What I could not believe what that some folks began camping out at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. One of the items on sale was a 32 inch flat screen television, normally sold for $500 now for $200. Of the folks interviewed some were there and were buying for two or three others beside themselves. I, for one, do not get into the hoopla. I don't like crowds and especially crowds who are in a buying frenzy. I plan to utilize my local small stores on Saturday if I purchase anything at all. In thinking about the holidays, it has crossed my mind that for next year, I am going to begin in January or even December to begin making things for my family and close friends. I do knit, I cross-stitch, I paint, I take photographs, and I could work with clay. These are just some of my idea. If I work on these items all year, it could not come as one big chunk of money. Then I could save up the funds for those I would need to mail off. I hate to admit it but I have not mailed my sister's birthday present yet. So, it will be a birthday, Yule present. mz. em ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Currently reading: -- "Taltos" - Anne Rice -- "The Daily Book of Art/356 readings that teach, inspire & entertain" - day 60 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
