I saw the news last night. It is a sorry state when people go shopping at midnight and end up in a pushing-shoving contest to get at the "bargains."

It was reported one woman used pepper spray against fellow shoppers. What gives?

Then when the shoppers went to their cars in the parking lot, they are accosted by brigands who hold them at gun point and demand their purchases. Has this world really gone crazy?

Also it was noted that one person was shot and killed and another wounded. I just don't get it.

Today is Small Business Saturday. This is the one I would participate in. I usually shop locally except for what the stores here just don't have.

I won't be shopping because the only money I have left is going to be spent on a prescription I need to pick up. I am glad that my pharmacy is local.

Then there is On-Line Monday.

I will be glad when this is all over.
