Saturday


I don't feel so tired today. I like this. Although I have yet to do anything productive except to read e-mail, surf the 'Net, and take care of Bailey.

Okay, so I've done a few things.

I was disappointed when I took my glucose reading this morning because it was not as low at I thought it was going to be; especially since I had been so diligent in carb and protein counting. However, the reading is lower than the day before since I went on my eating spree of pretzels, wasabi peas, and anything else that caught my fancy which was cottage cheese I think. The main thing, the number went down.

Today is going to be a catch up day. I have bills to pay, a garden to spruce up and water, and I have some household things to do. Plus, there is a load of laundry I can do if I feel up to it. It is not going to be a boring day if I choose to do all of this.

Then again, I may go sit in my chair and read my book. I'm ready to be done with it.

I'd best wrap this up. I've balanced the checkbook; found $20 I didn't know was missing. I've organized the bills and other papers that need attention. Earlier in the afternoon, Michael drove me up town to get the mail and pick up scripts from the pharmacy. I've made some phone calls, I did water the plants and that is it.
