Words-of-Mine

No matter what the day brings, deep down I know it really is a good day because I have the man of my dreams, a kitty who loves me, a roof over my head and I live in paradise.

It was partly sunny in Los Osos when I left for Morro Bay this morning. I have two photos here.

The first one is of Morro Rock which I thought was in partial hiding. I'll have to come back over on a sunny day to take another photo when the Rock is in full sight.

This second one is of the Natural Museum of History on the overhang. This is taken in the other direction from the Rock. It is a beautiful museum and from its location gives you a good view of the back bay which is what you are seeing in both of these photos. This is only a part of the back bay because I live in another area of the bay and it is considered the back bay.

Well, you see, it's like this. Somehow I unknowingly deleted the photo of the Museum and it is not on my phone or the card or on my computer. It's gone. Just like that. Now I will have to go take another one. So sorry.

By the time I arrived home from church it is sunny in Los Osos. I open all the windows and the slider door. It is just glorious to live in paradise.

Today I fed the birds in front and in back. This is definitely Cat TV for Bailey. He loves watching the birds that come to feed. From what I can tell these are little sparrows. From their coloring they blend in very well with the lava rocks in the front.

I also got to see a blue jay in the birdbath. I always wondered why the depth of the water was so depleted but I assumed it had evaporated. Nope, I saw a bird walk into it and dunk its head under water several times and each time swish his/her head enough that water went everywhere. He/she was quite fun to watch.

I did several small things around the apartment. Yesterday I had planned on doing some laundry but that didn't happen today.

I cleaned up the strawberries we received from the food bank and had them in a dish in the refrigerator just for snacking. That bowl of strawberries didn't last long. Next up was some popcorn. This was fun while we watched "Die Hard II." Gotta love Bruce Willis, that boy sure gets knocked around in his movies and the blood. Don't let me get started on the blood.

I did do some filing and this is a good thing. I am beginning to seem some table top and some order as well. By the end of this past week I was feeling stressed with all the stacks of paper sitting on the table, in the chair, and on one of the stools.

This coming week is going to be busy but I get to put one of my projects to bed. Yea for me! One down and one to go.

It's been a mellow weekend. I enjoy mellow weekends.

I hope you all had the weekend of your choice.
